 Course Reserves is a library service offered to instructors to ensure that material they want their students to read is available for them. You may choose a two-hour or one-day loan period. Electronic Course Reserves material can be accessed through our Course Reserves System. Materials may be dropped off at the Services Desk or submitted via the Course Reserves System. .

Graduate Study. The Library’s three Graduate Study rooms boast study carrels, tables, and armchairs for UCSB’s graduate students. The rooms are located on the 2nd Floor of the Ocean and Mountain Side (gain entry by swiping your Access Card), and on the 8th Floor of the Ocean Side of the Library (go to the Services Desk to pick up a key) To find a specific book or books on a particular topic, start with a library catalog. The catalog will tell you which books we own, and will give you the location and call number you need to find the book on the shelf.
